SC State Bulldogs

South Carolina State University (SCSU) was founded in 1896 as the Colored Normal, Industrial, Agricultural, and Mechanical College of South Carolina. It was established under the Morrill Land-Grant Act to provide educational opportunities for African Americans. Over the decades, SCSU has become a leading institution known for producing outstanding educators, military officers, and business leaders.
