Position Overview

We're looking for a female content creator who genuinely connects with our customer and understands HBCU culture. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating short-form video content, feels comfortable on camera, and can showcase products in an authentic, engaging way.

This is a focused, sustainable role designed around quality and consistency—not volume.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is:

  • A Black woman who appears to be between the ages of 25–40
  • An HBCU alumna or someone deeply connected to HBCU culture
  • Confident, stylish, and expressive
  • Relatable and authentic
  • Comfortable creating short-form social media content
  • Experienced with Instagram Reels and TikTok (professional experience not required)

Responsibilities

Create and submit: 2 short-form videos per week (15–30 seconds each)

Content may include:

Styling & Fashion Content

  • Show different ways to style products
  • Highlight fit, versatility, and comfort

Relatable & Lifestyle Content

  • Voiceovers
  • Light humor
  • Everyday lifestyle moments

Scroll-Stopping Content

  • Strong visual hooks
  • Confident on-camera presence
  • Attention-grabbing concepts that showcase the brand

Content Requirements

On-Camera Presence

  • Comfortable appearing on camera
  • Confident, natural energy
  • Ability to capture attention within the first few seconds

Filming

  • Shot on iPhone or camera with clear visuals
  • Clean, well-lit environments (natural light preferred)
  • Clear audio quality
  • Ability to showcase fit and movement

Editing

Videos should be fully edited and ready to post, including:

  • Clean cuts and pacing
  • On-screen text when appropriate
  • Relevant or trending audio
  • Clear call-to-action

What Success Looks Like

Your content should make our audience feel:

  • Seen
  • Proud
  • Inspired

We are looking for content that feels authentic and engaging—not overly sales-focused, overproduced, or generic.

At least one video each week should be suitable for paid advertising and clearly showcase the product with a strong call-to-action.

What You Don't Need To Do

  • No posting to social media accounts
  • No content planning decks
  • No customer service responsibilities
  • No backend administrative work

Workflow

  • Batch filming is encouraged
  • Content may be submitted weekly or bi-weekly
  • Light revisions may be requested

Compensation

  • $500 per month for 2 videos per week
  • Additional opportunities may be available during peak seasons
  • Higher compensation may be offered for creators who consistently deliver strong creative work and results
